Using the Medicine Wheel, learn ways to find motivation and manage procrastination.

Academic Orientation sessions, held in June, are designed to guide you through your next steps as a new U of T Engineering student. The sessions provide a brief overview of what to expect during your first year of studies. Topics include: paying your fees, schedules, university resources, and more. These sessions will help you prepare for September.

Have you noticed that your mood and/or anxiety has led to unhelpful behaviours that are only making you feel worse? Does low mood or lack of motivation affect your ability to do the things you want and need to do? Has anxiety prevented you from approaching tasks or led to you leaving situations early? The Healthy Behaviours Workshop focuses on strategies to address the behaviours that contribute to and maintain low mood, low motivation, and anxiety.

- Develop key study strategies to successfully prepare for finals.
- Build a study plan that balances your competing priorities.
- Learn ways to build rest and restoration into your study plan.
Join us for our first session to kick off the First Year International Student Workshop Series! You will learn more about the First Year Office, the Engineering Buddy (E-Buddy) Program, as well as some tools and resources available to you as a U of T Engineering international student. You will also have some time to get to know our First-Year E-Buddies, and other students as you prepare for the Fall.
